Here’s what’s true of every tour we run, regardless of route or group size.
Before Every Tour
Safety briefing and practice session. No one gets on an ATV without one, regardless of how much riding experience they claim to have. This happens at the base, before the actual route starts, not on the fly once you’re already on the trail.
Helmet and gloves provided. Included in every tour, no exceptions.
Age policy enforced. Our minimum driving age is 15, with parental consent required for minors. This applies across all four of our routes.
Bilingual guide on every departure. Spanish and English, throughout the tour — not just at pickup.
Licensed and registered operator. We operate as an authorized tourism agency, registered with GERCETUR Cusco and MINCETUR. This isn’t a marketing detail — it means we’re accountable to Peru’s regional and national tourism authorities, not just to reviews online.
During the Tour
One guide per 8 guests, maximum, on shared departures. We don’t stretch a single guide across a larger group. Private tours get closer, more flexible attention by nature of group size.
Supplemental oxygen carried on our tours. Available if a guest shows signs of altitude discomfort during the route.
A guide travels with the group, not ahead of it or behind it at a distance. If someone falls behind or shows signs of struggling, the group’s pace adjusts.
Guests are asked to speak up. We tell every group, every time: if you feel unwell, cold, or unsure about the terrain, say so immediately. Guides are trained to take that seriously, not to wave it off to keep the schedule.
Our Fleet
Our ATVs go through recurring maintenance as part of normal operations. We don’t publish a fixed inspection schedule here yet — if you’d like specifics on our maintenance cadence, ask your guide or contact us directly before booking.

What happens if I feel unwell during a tour?
Tell your guide immediately. Every guide is instructed to take reported symptoms seriously and adjust the tour rather than push through the original schedule. Supplemental oxygen is available on our tours if needed.
Do I need prior ATV experience?
No. Every tour includes a safety briefing and a supervised practice session before you’re on the actual route, regardless of experience level.
What’s the minimum age to ride?

How many guests does one guide handle?
Up to 8 per guide on shared departures. Private tours are arranged separately.
